Got these in XS for my small 4 year old (32 lbs. and pretty short... he was the smallest kid on his team of 4 & 5 year olds). They fit well, working under his socks and with his soccer shoes. We'll get another year or 2 out of them before he has to size up, but they weren't too big by any stretch of the imagination. He liked that they came in a little carrying bag for him to keep them in when he wasn't wearing them.
